Takis Ice Cream


  • HIJINX ice cream mix
  • 1 ½ cups hot half & half or water*
  • ¾ cup Takis (Fuego for a bright red, or Takis Blue Heat for a bright blue result) + ½ cup crushed Takis to mix in (optional)
Note: For a lighter version use water. For a creamier version use half & half.


    1. Pour the hot water or half & half into a bowl. Add in ¾ cup Takis and let it sit for 20 minutes. Strain the Takis.

    2. Microwave the strained liquid for about 1 minute (until hot).

    3. Using a blender, combine one packet of HIJINX ice cream powder with the half & half or water. Blend for one minute or until thoroughly combined.

    4. Let the mixture rest for 30 minutes on your counter.

    5. Transfer to a freezer-safe container with an airtight lid.

    6. Freeze for 3-6 hours. Enjoy!

    OPTIONAL: Mix in an additional ½ cup of Takis for added crunch.
