Salted Caramel

INGREDIENTS

  • HIJINX ice cream mix
  • 1 ½ cups whole milk
  • ½ cup caramel sauce/candies
  • 1 teaspoon large- flake salt
    OPTIONAL
    • ½ cup heavy cream

    EASY VERSION

    1. Warm the milk over medium heat or microwave for 30 - 60 seconds (do not boil).

    2. Using a blender, combine 1 packet of HIJINX ice cream mix with milk. Make sure HIJINX is fully dissolved.

    3. Gently stir in the caramel sauce/candies and the salt into the mixture.

    4. Transfer to a freezer-safe container with an airtight lid.

    5. Let the mixture rest for 30 minutes on your counter.

    6. Freeze for 3-6 hours. Enjoy!

    RICHER VERSION

    Replace 1 ½ cups of milk in the recipe above with 1 cup whole milk and ½ cup heavy cream.
