Salted Butter and Garett Mix

INGREDIENTS

  • HIJINX ice cream mix
  • 1 ½ cups half & half or water*
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 cup Garett mix popcorn, lightly crumbled
Note: For a lighter version use water. For a creamier version use half  & half.

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Warm the half & half and butter over medium heat or microwave for 30 - 60 seconds (do not boil). Make sure the butter is fully dissolved.

2. Using a blender, combine 1 packet of HIJINX ice cream mix with the half & half mixture and salt. Blend for one minute or until thoroughly combined.

3. Let the mixture rest for 30 minutes on your counter.

4. After 30 minutes, gently stir in the popcorn. For better distribution, stir in after freezing for 1 - 2 hours. 

5. Transfer to a freezer-safe container with an airtight lid.

6. Freeze for 3 - 6 hours. Enjoy!
