Old-School HIJINX Banana Split


  • 1 scoop HIJINX ice cream
  • 1 scoop chocolate HIJINX ice cream
  • 1 scoop strawberry HIJINX ice cream
  • 1 large ripe banana
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup
  • 2 tablespoons strawberries/ strawberry topping
  • 2 tablespoons chopped walnuts
  • 3 cherries
  • Whipped cream


1. Place HIJINX ice cream scoops next to each other in an oval dish or a bowl.

2. Cut the ends off the banana before peeling. Slice the unpeeled banana in half longways.

3. Remove each half of the banana from the peel, and place them onto either side of the ice cream row. Press the banana slightly into the ice cream.

4. Pour chocolate syrup onto the ice cream. Top each ice cream scoop with whipped cream. Sprinkle the walnuts over the entire banana split. Top each scoop with a cherry. Enjoy!
