Brown Sugar and Rum Banana


  • HIJINX ice cream mix
  • 1 ½ cups half & half or water*
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 oz rum/ rum extract
  • 1 banana
Note: For a lighter version use water. For a creamier version use half  & half.


1. Warm the half & half over medium heat or microwave for 30 - 60 seconds (do not boil).

2. Using a blender, combine 1 packet of HIJINX ice cream mix with the half & half and brown sugar. Blend for one minute or until thoroughly combined.

3. Gently stir sliced bananas into the mixture.

4. Let the mixture rest for 30 minutes on your counter. 

5. Blend or stir in rum.

6. Transfer to a freezer-safe container with an airtight lid.

7. Freeze for 3-6 hours. Enjoy!
