Bourbon Brown Butter

INGREDIENTS

  • HIJINX ice cream mix 
  • 1 ½ cups half & half or water*
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 oz bourbon
Note: For a lighter version use water. For a creamier version use half & half.

    INSTRUCTIONS

    1. Blend one packet of HIJINX ice cream powder with 1.5cups of hot water (or half & half), brown sugar, and butter for 3-4 minutes.

    2. Let the mixture rest for 30 minutes on your counter

    3. Stir or blend in the bourbon

    4. Transfer to a freezer-safe container with an airtight lid

    5. Freeze for 3-6 hours. Enjoy!
